It has substantial experience in local development planning, entrepreneurship support, training, and stakeholder mobilisation in rural and mountainous territories. Within the project, Meridaunia provides strong coordination capacity, territorial outreach, and practical expertise in supporting women’s entrepreneurship, while ensuring close alignment between project activities, local needs, and long-term rural development objectives.
OECON is a Greek organisation with recognised expertise in entrepreneurship, digitalisation, vocational education, and gender equality. It has developed a wide range of educational resources and business support initiatives and brings a strong background in empowering women through training and innovation. In the project, OECON contributes to the pedagogical and strategic dimension of the work, helping ensure that the project delivers practical, inclusive, and policy-relevant solutions for women entrepreneurs in rural and remote areas.
Priority Trust Services is a Cyprus-based SME specialising in business consultancy, financial planning, investment guidance, and business formalisation services. The organisation brings practical expertise in helping entrepreneurs navigate financial, legal, and organisational challenges linked to business creation and growth. Within the project, it contributes a strong applied perspective on financial literacy, access to funding, and business structuring, supporting the development of solutions that can help women entrepreneurs in remote areas move from idea generation to sustainable enterprise development.
K-GEM is a non-governmental organisation based in Türkiye with extensive experience in social inclusion, training, and the economic empowerment of women and other marginalised groups. Its work combines gender-sensitive approaches with expertise in community engagement, digital transformation, and support for people facing social and structural barriers. In the project, K-GEM strengthens the inclusive dimension of the partnership and contributes practical experience in adapting entrepreneurial support to women in diverse and often disadvantaged rural contexts.
The Autonomous University of Barcelona is a leading higher education institution with strong expertise in rural development, governance, social innovation, and gender-related research. Its academic and research capacity brings an evidence-based dimension to the partnership, particularly in the analysis of best practices, success factors, and policy-relevant approaches to female entrepreneurship. In the project, UAB supports the production of robust knowledge and transferable results that can inform both practice and policy for women’s entrepreneurship in rural and mountainous areas.
